Channel Verification

Channel Verification connects a Telegram channel to a specific Tonso account. The process is simple: the owner adds the Tonso bot to the channel and completes a short verification flow. Once this is done, Tonso treats that channel as verified and knows which account should receive rewards from earn campaigns linked to that channel’s activity.

Verification is a requirement for any campaign or feature that depends on the channel’s audience. When a campaign rewards content based actions, Tonso needs to know that the channel belongs to the participant who claims the reward. Verification also helps prevent impersonation and reduces the risk that someone claims credit for another channel’s work. Regular users who do not own channels can use Tonso without verifying anything.
